CLASS A CDL DRIVER

Overview:

New X Inc is currently accepting applications for Class A CDL dump truck and trailer drivers.Our projects are generally spread between Skagit County, Snohomish County, King County and Pierce County (with some exceptions of the eastern region of WA)All trucks and trailers are stored at our yard in Gold Bar, WA. Must have ability to commute there daily.

Requirements:

- Class A CDL with a clean driving record

- Minimum 2+ years in heavy haul / dump truck driving

- Must be able to operate safely and efficiently a variety of trucks including trailers

- Perform pre-trip inspections and complete drivers' logbook

- Ability to load and unload equipment and ensure equipment is correctly secured on trailers

- Deliver materials and/or rentals to jobsite

- Disperses and dumps material efficiently

- Provides material tickets to the foreman daily

- Maintains a clean truck including spraying down of trailers when needed and practices good housekeeping on all equipment

- Ensures truck is fueled each night

- Follows all safety rules and regulations and practices safety measuresA Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and a background check will be run on anyone considering this position

Qualifications:

- You must be able to pass a drug test and Motor Carrier Query

- Must be able to communicate effectively

- Ability to read and write English is required

- Must have reliable transportation

Experience level: Minimum 5 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30+/hr depending on experience

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

10 hour shift

12 hour shift

8 hour shift

(Weekends as needed, but rare)

WORKING FOREMAN

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Working Foreman to join our team. As a Working Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction management principles. Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, work with the project engineer and project manager

- Read plans and be able to reference specs for the job

- Coordinate and oversee the employees onsite and implementation of safety measures

- Monitor project progress and keep the project manager up to date on any changes that have been requested

- Inspect the site regularly in order to keep materials, tools, and machines in proper quantities and working order

- Document daily tasks performed as well as log who was on site and what materials/machines are being used and delivered

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and safety standards

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control

- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

FLAGGER

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Flagger to manage the flow of traffic in and around construction zones.The Flagger’s responsibilities include setting up markers, cones and barricades, directing traffic, and communicating effectively with the construction crew. The ideal candidate should have good hand-eye coordination, excellent communication skills, and must be able to stand for extended periods.You must also be familiar with safety procedures and the handling of emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

- Control vehicular or pedestrian traffic in conjunction with construction or road maintenance projects.

- Set up signs, cones, and barricades to create a safe work environment.

- Communicate directions to drivers and pedestrians based on road work.

- Stand in position for long periods and in all weather conditions.

- Communicate effectively with construction crew about upcoming traffic patterns.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

- React quickly to changing traffic conditions.

- Perform minor maintenance on traffic control equipment when necessary.

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid state flagger certification.

- Experience in construction or traffic control is a plus.

- Ability to stand for long periods.

- Good hand-eye coordination.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to handle high-stress situations and react quickly to emergencies.

Experience level: Minimum 2 years
